Nurse Practitioner

Looking for Full Time Nurse Practitioner in Brooklyn, NY

Position Details:

• Type: Full-time
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Two Saturdays per month, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Patient Volume: Up to 20 patients daily

Responsibilities:

• Treat 16-20 patients a day
• Perform initial evaluations and you are responsible for follow up appointments
• Read Chest X-Rays
• Perform and read stress tests on patients.
• Gather and document comprehensive patient histories relevant to presenting complaints.
• Perform targeted physical examinations, noting significant findings.
• Treat hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, atherosclerosis, peripheral arterial disease various vascular disorders, COPD, emphysema, Pulmonary embolisms and CHFs
• Manage patients’ health who recently had prior and recent MI events.
• Teach and educate patients on healthy diets and how to lead a healthy lifestyle
• Diagnose and manage adult patients with cardiovascular conditions.
• Oversee and interpret stress tests and other cardiac diagnostic procedures.
• Order and evaluate lab tests and imaging studies to guide patient care.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 per year depending on experience plus Full Benefits including health insurance

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Active NYS APRN license with DEA registration
• MSN degree with FNP, ANP, or AGNP certification
• At least 2 years of clinical experience as NP
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
