FULL DESCRIPTION: Our client is currently seeking a highly motivated and energetic data engineer to join our integration team to analyze signals and present results from our diagnostic technology. The selected candidate will be responsible for: -Develop code to extract key information from raw data collected from instrument-Automate entry of metadata and key metrics/results by organizing it all in a database-Provide query methods so any member of the company can easily access, filter and visualize the information stored on the database-Interpret and relay trends over time through data visualization tools and dashboards -Manage bioinformatics pipeline and work with development team.

The selected candidate will also possess: -Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, math, statistics, bioinformatics, computational biology or related field AND 1+ years of industry experience in data science, data modeling or data engineering fields-Experience in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Java,)-Experience working with relational databases and database management tools such as SQL-Experience in analysis of signals from analytical instrument-Experience developing web apps through python and/or JavaScript/html frameworks (Django, flask, Vue, angular etc.) -Familiarity with data visualization and dashboard tools (Tableau, Power BI, Dash, or similar)
