The Hamilton Roddis Memorial Library supports the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point at Marshfield campus and is part of the UWSP Libraries. JOB DUTIES:

Position Summary

This position has responsibility for library circulation, interlibrary loan, materials processing, and supervising student staff. Other duties include providing research assistance to users and performing other public and technical duties.

Shift: 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Thursday during the academic year.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Qualifications
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology.
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and effectively manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to stand, lift, bend, stoop, kneel, for extended periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor¿s degree.
  • Experience working in a library or archives.
  • Experience training and supervising students.
  • Skilled knowledge and use in MS Office and other software and/or operating programs.

Terms of Employment

This is an on-going University Staff position, non-exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act. This position is required to serve a six-month probation period.
