Construction Project Manager (Underground Fuel Tank Installations)

Summary:

A construction company that specializes in retail / commercial fueling system installations is looking to hire an experienced Project Manager in Jacksonville.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee 1-5 projects per week within the retail and commercial fueling industry, focusing on the installation of underground and aboveground fuel oil storage tanks.
• Conduct daily inspections of all active job sites
• Travel to out-of-town job sites as required, over 50% of time spent out in the field
• Manage multiple projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Use Project Management Software to track progress, schedule, and report key milestones.
• Resolve on-site issues and implement solutions to maintain project schedules and ensure deadlines are met.
• Interpret blueprints and petroleum construction drawings to establish and inspect elevations, ensuring accuracy during the tank-setting and piping processes.
• Conduct quality inspections to verify project standards are met, including shooting grades and performing elevation checks.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, sub-contractors, and field teams, ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
