Job Title: Night Auditor

Location: Middleburg, VA

Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our client's hotel team in Middleburg, VA. The Night Auditor will ensure smooth operations during the overnight shift by managing the front desk, completing nightly financial and operations reports, and assisting guests as needed.

This position also requires light housekeeping and delivery tasks as required to provide exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Front Desk Management: Greet and assist guests with check-in/check-out processes, respond to inquiries, and address any issues or requests throughout the night.
  • Report Generation: Complete and review daily financial reports, post charges, and reconcile accounts for accuracy.
  • Guest Service: Deliver exceptional guest service by responding to requests such as delivering extra towels, amenities, or other room service items as needed.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of the hotel by monitoring entrance doors, verifying guest identities, and following hotel safety protocols.
  • Light Housekeeping: Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the lobby and public areas, restocking supplies, and handling minor guest room needs.
  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve guest issues that may arise during the night shift, escalating when necessary.
  • Auditing: Review and balance the daily financial transactions for the hotel, ensuring all revenue is properly accounted for.
  • Communication: Relay any relevant information to the morning staff to ensure a seamless transition between shifts.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a hotel front desk or night auditor role preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle various tasks simultaneously.
  • Basic proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Must be able to work overnight hours (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM), including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and perform light physical tasks such as delivering items to guest rooms.
