FULL DESCRIPTION- The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for software documentation, design, development, coding, and integration for a Distributed Aperture System (DAS).
The selected candidate will be responsible for: -Responsible for system integration and testing-
Provide guidance and leadership to subordinates. Lead a small team of designers in generating the FPGA design solutions-Administrate and maintain analytical software tools and provide training and instruction on its use. -
Assist with customer and certification regarding technical and design aspects-
Generate software requirements, test procedures, code, test, and verification. Software and documentation review-
Ensure all contractual guidelines related to software development are followed. Responsible for system integration and testing-
Project status reporting as required-
Knowledge of hardware and software interface-
IBM rational DOORS software tools experience preferred-
Other duties as required
The selected candidate will also possess:- 4 year accredited college degree preferred-
10+ years of experience with embedded processors and programmed devices in the avionic field-
Software lifecycle knowledge required-Ability to work with all levels of personnel. -
Excellent written and oral communication skills-
Above average computer skills required-
Ability to lead one or more employees performing similar work
Salary Range: $40-$60/hr
