Accounts Payable Clerk - West Chester

We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the manufacturing industry, based in West Chester, OH. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be playing a key role in managing and organizing the company's payable functions, including invoice processing, vendor communication, and maintaining records.

Responsibilities:

• Processing and handling invoices for designated vendors
• Engaging in phone and email correspondence with vendors and customers
• Utilizing troubleshooting skills to resolve issues
• Conducting payment transactions, reconciling invoices, and keeping up-to-date records
• Managing and working with purchase orders
• Preparing 1099 tax forms and assisting with audit procedures
• Providing exceptional customer service as part of sales support
• Assisting sales managers and agents in their day-to-day tasks
• Expediting orders and managing order entry
• Creating return good authorizations (RGA's)
• Confirming orders and tracking contract blankets.
• Minimum of 1+ year of experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk role or similar position in the Manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in Account Reconciliation, ensuring all account balances are accurate and up-to-date.
• Demonstrated experience with Accounts Payable (AP), able to manage all outgoing payments efficiently.
• Skilled in performing Check Runs, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.
• Experience with Coding Invoices, accurately categorizing expenses for record keeping.
• Strong Data Entry skills, able to input financial data swiftly and accurately.
• Proficiency in Invoice Processing, managing all aspects of vendor payments.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, able to use functions, formulas, and data visualization to support financial tracking and reporting.
