Overview:
Alera Group is looking for a Systems Engineer with experience in cloud technologies to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise cloud solutions and messaging platforms.You will play a key role in ensuring high availability, security, and performance for our cloud-based and messaging systems.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage cloud-based applications using Azure services.
- Develop Infrastructure as a Code to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources.
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, or Bash to streamline cloud operations.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and health using SolarWinds and other monitoring tools.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide tier 2/3 support for cloud-related incidents.
- Maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures, and change management records.
- Understanding of cloud security, compliance, and best practices.
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with DevOps and security teams to ensure best practices in cloud architecture.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure services and infrastructure.
- Work with Active Directory (AD), LDAP, and Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in systems engineering with cloud expertise, specifically Microsoft Azure.
- Strong experience in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Active Directory (AD), Group Policy, and Identity & Access Management (IAM).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure services and infrastructure.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.
- Experience working in an enterprise or multi-tenant environment.
- Strong documentation and change management control experience.
