As the Front Desk Coordinator, you will be the welcoming face of our imaging center, serving as the initial point of contact for patients, referring physicians, and the general public. Your role is crucial in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for everyone who walks through our doors.

Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Greeting and Welcoming: Ensure all patients and their families feel comfortable and valued from the moment they arrive.
  • Patient Assistance: Anticipate and attend to the needs of our patients, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Administrative Duties: Manage patient check-ins, answer and route telephone calls, schedule appointments, and handle front office tasks efficiently.
  • Financial Transactions: Collect patient balances at the time of service, ensuring smooth and accurate financial processes.

Qualifications:

**Work Schedule:

  • Hours per Week: Full Time
  • Daily Hours: 9:30am to 6pm, Monday-Friday
  • Flexibility: If you would like a day off during the week you can work Saturday.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Prior Experience:

  • 0 - 2+ years in a customer support role or hospitality field

Special Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service background and focus
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills with accuracy and efficiency
  • Ability to multi-task effectively
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Experience in a physician practice or medical services office
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Prior experience with patient collections in a medical setting
  • Experience with medical records
  • Bachelor’s Degree
