(link removed) (SFDC) Technical Lead to support NI’s implementation of the SFDC CRM platform across the Support and Services business areas.
The SFDC Technical Lead will be a leader within the organization partnering with both IT solutions in NI’s adoption of Service cloud, assets, and entitlements. The technical lead will be the technical expert within our IT development teams to drive new business capabilities by leveraging SFDC out-of-the-box capabilities, App Exchange partners, custom extensions and integrations to other NI systems including, but not limited to ERP, Business Intelligence and (link removed).

Key Responsibilities
Business Partnership
Partner with business stakeholders and product owners to understand business outcomes and needed capabilities
Identify options to deliver on needed business capabilities
Communicate design options to stakeholders with tradeoffs and iterative delivery options
Provide SFDC platform thought leadership within the organization
Solution Design & Architecture
Translate business requirements into well-designed solutions that best leverage the (link removed) platform
Lead technical design sessions and the documentation of design decisions.
Collaborate with area Architects and Architecture owners to align with architectural principles and overall solution designs
Adopt SOA best practices for integration of SFDC with other key systems including ERP, and (link removed)
Provide technical leadership supporting an Agile SDLC mindset with designs and architectures that allow for iterative delivery and a faster time to delivery to realize business value
Ensure balance between functional and non-functional requirements into solutions including security, compliance, and quality.
Execution Support
Be a technical advisor and problem solver to assist the CRM product teams in optimizing their use of the SFDC modules and platform
Participate in the SFDC Chapter and community
Provide technical leadership and coaching with hands on assistance to product teams
Contribute to the transfer of functional requirements to product teams.
Contribute to scope, approach, and estimation of effort with product teams
Design and develop solutions in Lightning, VisualForce, Apex, D/HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other technologies
Required Skills:
Qualifications and Skills
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
6+ years in software development and design
4+ years developing and solutioning with (link removed)
Preferred Qualifications
Exceptional knowledge of object-oriented languages and concepts (Java, Ruby, C#, C++, etc)
Experience with relational databases and concepts
Solid understanding of and detailed experience with (link removed) architecture and APIs
Experience in back-end development of Salesforce including but not limited to design of data models, a strong knowledge of SOQL and SOSL, and usage of web technologies.
Experience developing and supporting Service and/or Sales Cloud
Experience with (link removed) developer toolkit, including Apex Classes, Controllers and Triggers, Visualforce, (link removed) IDE, (link removed) migration tool and Web Service a plus.
Experience in employing SOA principles for integration between SFDC and other systems using integration platforms (i.e. Inforamtica, Mulesoft, etc.)
Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences required.
Strong documentation skills for requirements, technical decisions and reference architectures.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Initiative to excel in a dynamic and fast paced environment and not afraid of doing “hands on” work.
Experience using Agile development practices and as a member of an Agile team,Ability to quickly acquire new technical expertise both within the SFDC platform and in related technologies
Salesforce Developer/Administrator certification a plus.
