Driver Safety and Transportation Compliance Manager

Position Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain driver safety and transportation compliance programs, policies, and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Provide guidance and training to transportation employees on safety protocols, regulations, and best practices, including regular safety training sessions for drivers
- Monitor and analyze driver performance and safety records, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions for accidents and incidents
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations (e.g., DOT, FMCSA, OSHA) and communicate regulatory changes to the transportation team
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, auditors, and inspectors during transportation safety and compliance audits and inspections
- Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of transportation safety and compliance programs, providing regular reports to senior management
- Travel up to 25% of the time
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 6 plus years of related experience or High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 9 plus years of specific experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar certification
- Commercial Driver’s License
