Job Description

Drywall Estimator's daily tasks include:

• Interpreting plans and specifications in order to prepare written proposals
• Maintaining understanding of all local, city, and building codes
• Possessing knowledge of local material, labor, and equipment cost
• Managing and trainingProject Engineers and Assistant Project Estimators to ensure proper growth within the organization
• Continuously develop and improve upon knowledge for all product lines, including drywall, acoustical, doors/frames/hardware

The Successful Applicant

The Successful Drywall Estimator should have:

• Must have experience working for a commercial drywall subcontractor or self-performing GC
• Familiar with estimating software (Quikbid + Takeoff is a plus)
• Ability to produce in a high pressure environment
• Ability to meet or exceed goals with minimal direct supervision
• Have a "go getter" mindset and work well in a team environment
