Sr. Accountant

You will also be involved in variance analysis, ad hoc requests, audit preparation, and SEC financial assistance.

• Assist with the month-end closing process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Perform account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare and review financial statements to provide a clear picture of the company's financial health
• Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and inconsistencies in financial data
• Respond to ad hoc requests as needed to support the finance team and other departments
• Prepare for audits to ensure compliance with all financial regulations
• Assist with SEC financial assistance to support the company's public financial reporting
• Utilize advanced Excel skills to manage and analyze financial data
• Leverage experience with NetSuite, SAP S4 Hana, and Blackline to optimize financial processes
• Support eCommerce operations through accurate and efficient accounting practices. • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role within the retail industry
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations
• Extensive knowledge and experience with General Ledger management and Journal Entries
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel required for financial analysis and reporting
• Demonstrated experience in Month End Close procedures
• Familiarity with accounting software, particularly NetSuite and SAP
• Prior experience in an eCommerce environment highly desirable
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
