Our customer is searching for a Director of Human Resources.
The Director of Human Resources should lead an innovative, people-first organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in talent management and development, be strategic in nature; fostering an environment that upholds the company core values of Family First, Work Ethic, Think Outside the Box.

In addition, this person will be responsible for developing new and providing existing employee-related services, payroll and benefits administration, development and implementation of policies, programs and HR Compliance.

Candidate must be a strategic thinker who will manage, support, assess organizational needs, and foster an environment that maximizes employee's personal and professional growth. This person must have a proven track record in developing and maintaining an outstanding HR organization.

Must be able to deal with ambiguity, be flexible, dynamic and able to adapt to a changing environment and needs.

Responsibilities* Strategy and Training-Consult with senior management on performance, organizational and leadership matters to develop a strategic plan for the HR organization; including but not limited to conducting needs assessments for training and employee development to enhance effectiveness of employee performance, incorporating the vision, values, culture and strategic direction of the organization.* Human Resource Functions-To provide overall supervision to the Human Resource function and Compliance department, for all Human Resource activities.-Stay abreast of innovations in the field of human resource management and establish and implement company wide and HR department goals, objectives, policies and priorities for continuous improvement in the efficiency of the department and services performed.-Advise business management on employment decisions, including hiring, disciplinary, and termination decisions, ensuring adherence to company policy and compliance with relevant federal and state laws.-Work with outside vendors for benefits renewal, 401(k) administration and Workers Compensation.* Employee Retention & Performance Management-Develop and establish programs to enhance employee retention and connection with supervisors, including but not limited to: stay interviews, effective goal setting and feedback, leadership and management training programs, etc.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding-Work closely with leadership and marketing to position as the premier employer in the construction industry.
