Desktop Support Analyst

We are in search of a meticulous Desktop Support Analyst to become a part of our team. This role is based in Campbell, California and offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. As a Desktop Support Analyst, you will be tasked with managing technical support functions, assisting end users with various Microsoft products, and troubleshooting Azure AD and Office 365 among other tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Manage technical support functions on a daily basis
- Offer support to end users on issues related to Microsoft products such as SharePoint, Outlook, and OneDrive
- Troubleshoot Azure AD and Office 365-related issues
- Respond to requests for technical assistance either in person, over the phone, or electronically
- Configure, deploy, and support standard desktop and laptop PCs, various business applications, office equipment, and printers
- Troubleshoot and resolve common issues like connection problems, password resets, and hardware requests like new monitors and keyboards. • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server is essential.
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of and experience with computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
- Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
- Customer-oriented approach with a strong ability to manage time and prioritize work.
- Superior written and oral communication skills for providing top-notch customer service.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Willingness to keep up-to-date with advancements in technology and the IT industry.
- Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs.
- Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a detail oriented manner.
- Proven experience as a help desk technician or other customer support role.
