State specific pay scales for this role are as follows: $73,127 to $135,360 (CA, NJ, NY, WA, HI, AK, MD, CT, RI, MA)
$66,479 to $123,055 (NV, OR, AZ, CO, WY, TX, ND, MN, MO, IL, WI, FL, GA, MI, OH, VA, PA, DE, VT, NH, ME)$59,831 to $110,749 (UT, ID, MT, NM, SD, SE, KS, OK, IA, AR, LA, MS, AL, TN, KY, IN, SC, NC, WV)
The expected base salary for this position will vary depending on a number of factors, including relevant experience, skills and location.
Position Summary
Under general supervision the purpose of this position is to develop automated testing framework/test cases and tools that support the testing of new or modified software programs. The Software QA Engineer II is an intermediate level position who will be responsible for participating in multiple projects at a time.
Essential Job Functions:
- Implement and enhance automated test framework
- Implement automate script, create utility tools to support application quality
- Develop new automated test to discover new bugs in the application
- Understanding product functionality, executes test cases and write clear bug reports
- Help Jr. QA to debug and fixes complicate automated tests based on application changes
- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve blockers and enhance productivity

- Various marginal functions
Experience:
- 2-3 years of working experience in software development and/or software quality assurance automation framework
- 1-2 years of working experience with API testing
- 1-2 years of working experience with agile development environment
- Demonstrated capability to take responsibility of timely delivery
- Experience creating new testing tools
- Create manual and automation test strategy
- Working experience with Java, Jekins, Jira, Github, Confluence, IDE, Mongo DB, SQL
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Mongo DB or similar
- Strong knowledge of automated testing types, environments, and various automation frameworks
- Ability to identify automatiable test cases and utilize effective testing tools
- Deep knowledge of Agile methodology, SDLC, and CICD
- Manual testing knowledge, able to create and execute test cases, write clear bug report
- Analyse defects and identify the root cause
- Must have critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Requires critical attention to details and motivation to efficiently complete assigned projects.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Have a mindset of do whatever to getting the work done on time.
- Able to wrok independently as well as with a team.
