We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Data Entry Clerk for our Imports Team in Carson, California. This position is within the logistics industry and is centered around processing and maintaining customer information with a high level of precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities:
  • Accurately inputting customer data into the Cargowise system
  • Managing and maintaining up-to-date customer records
  • Addressing and resolving customer inquiries in a timely manner
  • Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions
  • Ensuring efficient processing of customer credit applications
  • Maintaining accuracy in customer credit records. • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the logistics industry
  • Proficient in using Cargowise software for logistics operations
  • Demonstrable data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively as part of the Imports Team
  • Excellent attention to detail in all tasks
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with various internal teams
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Solid computer literacy, especially in Office applications
  • Proactive attitude and ability to problem-solve independently when required
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification
  • Familiarity with standard office equipment such as printers and scanners
  • Experience in import processes and procedures would be beneficial.
