Description:
- Support the Business Units by working with PRD and Process Development Scientists in planning and executing projects to enable successful launches. This position would be interfacing with the business group. Independently define and complete work assignments, communicating in a timely manner with business team regarding project updates. Ability to anticipate and communicate potential issues, collaborating with Team Lead and Scientists to create alternate solutions to avoid project delays. Execute and coordinate experiment and trial report results through observation, recording, and analysis.
- Performing analytical tests and/or sample preparation in lab or pilot plant. Performing test with strict accordance to SOP documents, repeating and validation. Ability to extract data and timely provide scientists with data/guidance on results.
- Housekeeping and adhering to all safety rules. Driving for continuous improvement in the process as well as safety/environmental systems.
- Ensure availability of all required supplies to deliver project work on time. Order raw and packaging materials and manage inventories of materials and finished products onsite and at 3rd party logistics providers. Prepare all necessary materials for process trials. Actively maintain CisPro material tracking system.
- Ensure availability and proper functioning of equipment to deliver projects on time. Ability to identify issues and provide input on solutions in collaboration with Team Lead or 3rd party vendor. Independently perform preventative maintenance and equipment troubleshooting, proactively leading any required repair work in assigned area.
- Leverage experience to cross-trains other Specialists, Team Leads, and Scientists on established processes and standard procedures as required, ensuring they stay proficient on Technical Services operations.
- Supports WCO processes through shared leadership of Team’s continuous improvement work and execution of annual workplans. Contributes data and shares responsibility for analysis and reporting of Team metrics. Actively participates in weekly Ops meetings; shares leadership of report-outs for learnings, issues and suggestions for improvements.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in R&D/Manufacturing roles
- Computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products (Outlook, Excel, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to work with multi-functional groups and collaborate with internal and external partners.
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to drive a forklift (will train), must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, ascend and descend stairs
- Experience using CISPro or other inventory system.

The expected base salary for this position is $21.42 per hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
