- So need local Building a target state data platform-big initiative for the organization.
They currently have a very outdated platform because they were relying on 3rd party analytics platforms.
They will be building analytics and reporting capabilities, some ops capabilities, business enablement tools, and pricing analytics.The platform will be completely cloud enabled.
Must Have Fixed Income or Financial services knowledge in buy-side or sell side firms Logical modeling experience specifically around different asset classes, portfolios, transactions, positions, attribution, risk analytics etc., Transforming logical models to physical database design Experience in Dimensional modeling Nice to have Physical tables optimization Snowflake modeling experience Snowflake performance optimization Some Experience in Python 10+ years of experience of in Data Modeling and Database Designing in Relation and Non-Relational Database, at least 5+ years in Financial Industries focused on Fixed Income Products, Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Proficiency in SQL, data querying, and performance optimization techniques.Proficiency in using Data Modeling tools like Erwin, ER Studio and DBT.
Expert experience in building Dimensional as well as highly normalized data models for OLTP.
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure technologies like containers, Kubernetes, and serverless computing.
Experience working with Data Governance tools like Collibra, Informatica.
Experience building catalogues, business terms, technical metadata and data lineage.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Strong experience with data structures, data modeling, data lineage and data catalogues.
Experience with Snowflake highly desirable Certifications in cloud platforms or data management (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect etc are highly desirable.
