Hotel Front Desk Supervisor
Job Summary:
The Residence Inn Madison is looking for a new leader for our front desk team!
The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Front Desk Manager and/or General Manager while providing attentive courteous and efficient service to all guests prior to arrival and throughout their stay. He/she is also responsible for maximizing room revenue and occupancy.

Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of progressive experience in hotel or related field required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- College coursework in related field helpful
- Previous supervisory responsibility preferred
- Must have valid driver's license for applicable state
- Clear communication skills required
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Ability to handle stressful, high-pressure situations, including guest objections and disputes
- Ability to show initiative and anticipate needs
- Effective problem-solving skills required
- Ability to understand and work with financial information and data
- Must be able to listen to, understand, and clarify concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests
Responsibilities not limited but to include:
- Approach guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Maintain regular attendance and high standards of personal appearance.
- Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations for safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Set the standard for guest relations at the Front Desk and obtain necessary information when taking room reservations.
- Monitor VIP and special guest requests, review Front Office log and Trace File daily.
- Fully comprehend and execute all relevant phases of the front desk computer system.
- Ensure logging and delivery of all messages, packages, and mail in a timely and professional manner.
- Be familiar with all in-house groups and all rates, packages, and promotions currently underway.
- Oversee and ensure that all guests are checked in/out in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner.
- Assist in training of new hires and current associates on a regular basis, and attend meetings as required by management.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
