Project Manager- Construction

Manage day to day operations of projects & their scope.Identify resources needed for projects.Review all deliverables prepared by team before client submission.Develop cost-effective plans & schedules for completion of projects following a logical pattern for utilization.Select and coordinate work of subcontractors working on various phases of the project.Responsible for execution of trade work.Identify the elements of project design and construction likely to create risk.Ensure the project meets its schedule and project profitability goals.Manage the budget and make monthly financial forecasts.Client advocate that reports on client progress.This is a hands-on position; the construction project manager will work with on-site personnel and subcontractors.Oversee all aspects of a construction project from planning to implementation, including Coordinate pricing, scheduling, and planning, site investigation, and subcontractors as requiredReceive, review, and expedite submittals and RFIs from subcontractors and vendorsPrepare, monitor, and update Master ScheduleReview and understand construction drawings and help spot any potential coordination problems or missing informationEnsure all code requirements and safety policies are satisfiedReview all subcontractor and vendor shop drawings, product data, samples, manuals, etc., for compliance with contract documents and coordination with all other items of work.Interface with inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, on-site personnel, subcontractors, and clients.Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs.Allocate resources for assigned projects.
