Principal Technical Program Manager, Prime Video Ads
For this role, we're looking for an experienced Principal Technical Program Manager to lead complex, technical cross-functional programs for Prime Video Ads.
Prime Video has a unique combination of premium video content, wide customer reach, Amazon audience insights, and more, and is therefore positioned to help global brand advertisers of all sizes reach their customers in impactful ways. The leader in this role will play a crucial part in driving Prime Video Ads growth.As a Principal TPM you will lead the software development process across multiple engineering teams working in parallel. These are all highly technical projects, requiring extraordinary communication, planning, coordination, and timely execution to be successful.

Successful candidates will have a strong technical background, be detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and exhibit a deep understanding of system or service architecture and implementation details. - 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience in adtech- 8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
