Cost Accounting Manager

We are in search of a Cost Accounting Manager to augment our team in the manufacturing sector, based in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Your role will involve managing cost accounting processes, maintaining financial costing, and collaborating with various departments to reduce costs and enhance efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the financial costing derived from engineering Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Take charge of the standard costing for equipment and service component inventory.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, and Engineering teams to implement cost reduction strategies.
• Work closely with SIOP, Product Line, and Engineering teams to minimize obsolete or slow-moving parts.
• Spearhead the monthly closing process for inventory.
• Execute the quarterly and annual inventory revaluations and record them accurately.
• Contribute to managing the Inventory count process.
• Investigate variances, including purchase price variance and production variances.
• Evaluate earned hours and efficiency reports.
• Direct the annual standard cost roll.
• Assist in predicting inventory requirements.
• Generate ad hoc reports as requested by Site Leads, FP& A, and CFO.
• Use Accounting Software Systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning tools for efficient accounting functions.
• Carry out auditing and manage Accounts Payable (AP).
• Utilize tools like ADP - Financial Services, Crystal Reports, and Epicor for smooth financial operations.
• Participate in budget processes to ensure financial stability in the organization. • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with Epicor
