We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Buyer/Purchasing Specialist in the non-profit industry, located in Palatine, Illinois. This role is a crucial part of our team, focusing on managing and overseeing buying processes, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Oracle systems.

Responsibilities:

Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools to streamline and optimize buying processes
Collaborate with the chef and other team members to ensure efficient operation of the buying processes
Oversee and manage the use of Oracle systems within the organization
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of ERP solutions and their application within the organization
Manage and oversee accounting functions and systems
Process and manage Accounts Payable (AP) within the organization
Ensure clear and effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders
Regularly review and update about time systems and processes within the organization. • Must have deep knowledge in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
Proficiency in utilizing ERP solutions is essential
Experience with 'About Time' software will be advantageous
Solid understanding of basic accounting functions is required
Previous experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary
Familiarity with buying processes in a non-profit context is essential
Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must
Experience with Oracle software is a significant advantage
