Payroll Specialist

We are searching for a meticulous Payroll Specialist to join our team in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will be entrusted with processing payroll cycles, maintaining and updating records, and resolving inquiries. You will be integral in ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulatory reporting requirements and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process payroll for both exempt and non-exempt employees using ADP Workforce Now.
• Regularly review timecards for non-exempt employees to guarantee accuracy prior to payroll processing.
• Assure compliance with all federal, state, and local wage and hour laws.
• Contribute to the upkeep and updating of the HRIS system, including new hires, employee updates, terminations, salary updates, and documentation uploading.
• Process pay adjustments, special payments, tax allocations, and employee deductions as necessary.
• Safeguard sensitive employee information, ensuring all payroll files and records are maintained confidentially.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills in handling and resolving employee inquiries and issues.
• Prepare communications that need to be delivered to employees and managers as necessary.
• Conduct payroll operations in a medium to large size company with multi-state locations and high-volume processing.
• Leverage in-depth understanding of voluntary deductions in payroll processing. • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role
• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now is essential
• Solid understanding and experience with Full Cycle Payroll
• Experience in executing Multi-state Payroll
• Capability to Process Bi-weekly Payroll efficiently
• Ability to Review Timesheets for accuracy
• Knowledge of Payroll Law is required
• Familiarity with handling Voluntary Deductions in payroll
