PC Technician

We are in search of a PC Technician to join our team in the wholesale distribution industry in KENTWOOD, Michigan. Our workplace offers a short term contract employment opportunity. The role primarily involves basic PC Technician work, including Windows-based support and maintenance of zebra printers.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting and resolving printer problems
- Assisting with the installation of cable networks
- Providing support for Windows workstation and workstations
- Managing drop ship location with multiple workstations
- Ensuring smooth operation of Linux and Mac technologies
- Applying knowledge of IBM and Dell technologies to daily tasks
- Conducting AB testing for system improvements
- Maintaining and updating Active Directory
- Handling computer hardware related issues
- Ensuring the functionality of Apple devices
- Implementing effective backup technologies
- Overseeing the maintenance of network printers
- Dealing with PC Desktop
- Workstation related tasks.
- Proficiency in Computer Hardware is essential for day-to-day tasks
- Familiarity with Dell Technologies to handle related devices and software
- Knowledge of IBM systems and platforms is required
- Experience with Linux Technologies to manage system operations
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot Mac Computers
- Experience with AB Testing to ensure optimal system performance
- Proficiency in Active Directory for managing networked resources
- Familiarity with Apple Devices for device support and troubleshooting
- Understanding of Backup Technologies to ensure data safety
- Capability to perform Cable Installation for various devices
- Experience with Network Printers to manage and troubleshoot printing tasks
