Overview:

We are seeking an experienced professional to spearhead our expansion efforts and take charge of business development, partnership, and capture initiatives. The ideal candidate will boast a proven track record in pinpointing and assessing new opportunities and possess the ability to see them through from identification to successful capture and closure.

Background:

Ardent Eagle Solutions is a service and mission-focused Small Business Headquartered in Tampa, Florida with a regional office in the National Capital Region (NCR) to provide technical services to the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community and other Federal, State, and Local Government Agencies.

The company was founded in 2012 by service-disabled veterans and experienced entrepreneurs with sixty years of combined government service including myriad assignments in the NCR and at USSOCOM and USCENTCOM.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to drive growth and expand our presence in space.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including government contracts, task orders, and subcontracts, through proactive market research, networking, and relationship building.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, prime contractors, industry partners, and potential customers, to position our company for success.
  • Lead the capture process for targeted opportunities, including opportunity identification, qualification, competitive analysis, teaming strategies, and proposal development.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, finance, and legal, to develop comprehensive and competitive proposals that meet customer requirements and objectives.
  • Manage the entire business development lifecycle, from opportunity identification to contract award, ensuring timely and successful execution of all activities.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and progress towards goals to senior management.
  • Provide input and support for the update and refinement of company imaging and branding materials.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for the company, representing our values, mission, and commitment to excellence in all external communications and interactions.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for enhancing the company's reputation, branding, and market position.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and proposals to diverse audiences.
  • Experience working with small businesses and/or disadvantaged business entities preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles within the GovCon space.
  • Proven track record of success in identifying, pursuing, and winning government contracts and opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of the Federal acquisition process, including familiarity with FAR, DFAR, and other relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Active or ability to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance preferred.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred

Certification(s):

CBDP or CPCM preferred
