ABOUT THE POSITION
The Inventory Control Supervisor will oversee the inventory of raw materials and finished goods for assigned facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure inventory levels and accuracy levels are established and maintained to align with working capital and production targets for facility.
- Supervise hourly warehouse employees on a daily basis
- Develop, implement and improve on processes and procedures focusing on inventory and warehousing activities.
- Create, track, ensure completion and accuracy of weekly inventory cycle counts.
- Facilitate and serve as team lead on plant physical inventories
- Prepares progress reports and updates for management, as requested.
- Drive continuous improvement activities.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Be a U.S. Persons;
- High School Diploma or equivalent required;
- Associate’s degree in supply chain or business preferred;
- At least 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role, preferred;
- At least 3 years’ experience in related Supply Chain role, preferred;
- Experience working with an ERP system is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Word);
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to collect, evaluate, and analyze data
