We are in search of a meticulous part-time Human Resources (HR) Assistant for a school located in ASTON, Pennsylvania. As an HR Assistant, you will be tasked with ensuring smooth HR operations in our organization, including but not limited to process optimization, recruitment assistance, and maintaining precise documentation.

This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our Benefits and Administrative Assistant to understand and document various processes.
  • Transform manual processes into efficient digital systems, with an emphasis on improving our hiring process.
  • Assist with light recruitment duties, including creating, updating, and disseminating job listings, as well as communicating with potential candidates.
  • Prepare and distribute offer letters to selected candidates.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all processes.
  • Utilize your computer skills to facilitate digital transformation in the HR department.
  • Engage in the auditing of HR related activities to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Utilize HRMS systems to streamline HR processes.
  • Conduct background checks as part of the recruitment process.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service when dealing with inquiries or requests from employees.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a Human Resources role or similar
  • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
  • Experience with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
  • Familiarity with Ceridian and HRMS software
  • Knowledge and experience with 'About Time' software
  • Proven experience in auditing HR practices and processes
  • Ability to conduct background checks in compliance with legal regulations
  • Understanding of Benefit Functions within a HR context
  • Excellent customer service skills with a client-oriented approach
  • Must be able to effectively manage, organize and prioritize tasks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Capacity to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
