Automation Engineer
Are you a skilled Automation Engineering Technician looking for an opportunity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are seeking a problem-solver with solid experience in creating PLCs from scratch. Problem-solving experience with HMIs and automation systems to improve and optimize production lines.

salary: $100,000 - 115,000 per year
work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot PLCs (Siemens preferred), HMIs (WonderWare preferred), and drives on production lines.
- Analyze and optimize automation processes for efficiency and reliability.
- Identify and implement improvements in automation deployment and report results.
- Create and update electrical layouts, schematics, and engineering documentation.
- Work closely with engineers, operations, and maintenance teams to improve machine performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards while working in a manufacturing setting.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience OR 5+ years with an associate degree OR 2+ years with a bachelor's degree.
- Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and variable frequency drives.
- Must be able to create PLC Program from scratch
- Ability to read, update, and create electrical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify impactful automation improvements.
