Due Dilgence Director

Position Summary: A leading management consulting firm is seeking a Due Diligence Director to join their Analysis team. This hybrid mid-level leadership role involves running due diligence and analysis processes to support private equity clients in making informed investment decisions.
The Due Diligence Director will report to the Director of Analysis and play a crucial role in managing client relationships, leading diligence teams, and developing strategic recommendations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day relationships with private equity clients to ensure optimal engagement.
- Lead diligence teams to assess financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and develop strategic recommendations.
- Oversee the development of comprehensive reports and high-impact readouts.
- Collaborate with practice leadership to set direction and validate findings.
- Conduct site visits, management presentations, and interviews.
- Support sales/business development processes to define and clarify scope.
- Train and coach associates on effective client engagement and use of tools.
- Provide thought leadership and enhance diligence capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business, Management, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial analysis, operational due diligence, or consulting with a focus on private equity.
- Proven track record of leading and executing due diligence processes.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with expertise in financial modeling and valuation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively, up to 85%.
