Accounts Payable Clerk

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the industry for an Accounts Payable Clerk based in Northridge, California. The workplace involves a role that requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and proficiency in various accounting and finance-related tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the processing of invoices with precision and efficiency
• Conduct account reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate financial records
• Manage the execution of check runs for timely payments
• Perform coding invoices to maintain organized records
• Carry out data entry tasks related to accounts payable
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and reporting
• Operate Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for financial management and transactions
• Oversee the invoice processing to ensure timely and correct payments. • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar financial position.
• Proficiency in using accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.
• Demonstrated skills in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP).
• Experience in Check Runs and Coding Invoices is essential.
• Strong data entry skills, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience in Invoice Processing, with the ability to manage high volume workloads.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas and functions.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to make sound decisions.
• A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
