Senior Inventory Specialist/Materials Manager

The company has over 6000 part numbers in inventory and now requires a senior inventory and materials manager to run this. The successful candidate will report to the company Cost Accountant.

• Assign new bin locations and maintain accurate bin locations in the company inventory system.
• Stock inventory and finished goods items in the proper bin locations.
• Maintain proper bin locations as goods are moved.
• Count materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock.
• Report and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and inventory system records.
• Develop and improve upon inventory management processes/procedures.
• Maintain stockroom cleanliness and order.
• Return material to stock, whether from kitting or production. Enter the in/out log and enter transactions into the system on a timely basis.
• Identify stock levels and short falls when a BOM is released for production
• Requisition material shortfalls within the system
• Ensure all kits issued to the production floor are complete
• Ensure all inventory deductions have withdrawal slips
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
