Attorney/Lawyer - Civil Defense Property & Casualty

• Analyzing a wide range of civil defense property and casualty legal matters through thorough legal research.
• Drafting a variety of legal documents including discovery responses, pleadings, and briefs.
• Conducting depositions of plaintiffs, defendants, and expert witnesses to gather necessary information.
• Attending court hearings and preparing litigation documents and coverage opinions accordingly.
• Overseeing site inspections as needed, ensuring all procedures are correctly managed.
• Adhering to timeline responses on all positions and discovery requests, using case management software effectively.
• Providing consultation to clients, advising them on their legal rights and responsibilities.
• Collaborating with legal colleagues and team members to ensure efficient workflow.
• Using document management skills to maintain an organized and efficient working environment.
• Utilizing drafting, negotiation, and communication skills to effectively manage cases.
• Licensed Attorney in Tennessee
• 2+ years of related experience
• Applicant must possess proficiency in Case Management Software
• Demonstrable experience in Document Management is required
• Competency in Briefing is expected
• Applicant should have a solid background in Civil Litigation
• Proficiency in Civil Law is a necessity
• Prior Civil Litigation Experience is required
• Experience in Defense Litigation is a must
• Candidate should be well-versed in Insurance Defense
• Insurance Defense Litigation experience is necessary
• Ability to handle Defending Depositions is required
• Experience in Deposition Summary is desired
• Proficiency in handling Depositions is expected
• Applicant should have experience in Drafting Pleadings
• Familiarity with Legal Pleadings is required
• Experience in Preparing Pleadings is a necessity
