Maintenance technican
Directs, coordinates, and oversees activities related to the design, construction, modification, and maintenance of equipment and machinery within the plant. Responsible for establishing standards and policies governing installation, modification, quality control, testing, operating procedures, inspection, and maintenance of equipment. Additionally, accountable for the maintenance of plant buildings and coordinating requirements for new designs, surveys, and maintenance schedules for equipment and machinery. Ensures optimal functionality and operational readiness of equipment and machinery by:
- Strategically planning and executing scheduled maintenance activities.
- Promptly responding to equipment breakdowns.
- Proficiently diagnosing faults.
- Effectively repairing equipment and machines.
- Procuring specialist components, fixtures, or fittings as needed.

Responsibilities
Responsible for standards and policies for installation, modification, quality control, testing, operatingprocedures, inspection, and maintenance of equipment.
Responsible for maintenance of plant buildings and coordinates requirements for new designs, surveys, and maintenance schedules for equipment and machinery.
Ensures that equipment and machinery is fully functional and operational by: Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance
Responding to breakdownsDiagnosing faults
Repairing equipment and machines
Obtaining specialist components, fixtures or fittings
Responsible for maintenance and repair activities to obtain safe operation and optimum utilization ofmachines and equipment.
In coordination with the Engineering team provides production support by supplying jigs and fixturesfor various projects.
Maintains a record of Preventative Maintenance in accordance with Quality System Procedures.
Evaluates field installations and recommends design modifications to eliminate machine or systemmalfunctions.
