Job Description
  • Provide analysis related to the design, development, and implementation of electronic parts, including DC converters and adjacent components
  • Implement and develop test strategies
  • Plan and implement research methodology and procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects
  • Analyze equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results
  • Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks
  • Prepare and study technical drawings and specifications, to ensure conformity to standards and customer requirements
  • Support existing products by troubleshooting and failure analysis
  • Participate in technical design reviews of existing designs and peer reviews
  • Compile data and write reports regarding existing and potential engineering studies and projects
  • Brief others on deliverables, status and progress
  • Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.

The Successful Applicant
  • Minimum 3 year experience in Engineering
  • Experience with software tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, PSIM, and Spice
  • Prior DC/DC converter experience
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ON-SITE 5 DAYS A WEEK
