Position:
The Transition Management Operations Associate assists in the onboarding of Private Advisor Teams. The role would facilitate client searches and contact, provide guidance on client profiling, open accounts, and various other aspects to ensure a timely and successful transition process.The Transition Management Operations Associate would also run metrics in support and management of the team transitions.
Individuals should be equally proficient working in a team environment or as an individual contributor. Should be goals driven with team success as a priority. Eager to learn, work with a sense of urgency, multi-tasking, willing to work extended hours and flexible to change.Individuals must be extremely thorough, detail-oriented, organized, able to learn quickly and handle volume under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Local Operations to onboard Private Wealth Management Teams
- Opening client accounts
- Preparing and sending forms to clients for establishing specialty account features
- Preparing and sending DocuSign envelopes
- Maintaining transition tracking and reporting metrics
Qualifications:
- A BA/BS is required; degree/coursework in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Statistics preferred. Non-finance majors with relevant experience are welcome to apply. Strong academic performance
- 3-5 years of experience in back-office operations and/or transition management operations.
- Leadership experience preferred
Skills:
- Familiarity with financial systems a plus. i.e., Bloomberg, Omgeo, CRM systems, On-line Portals, Performance Reporting.
- Experience on various custodial platforms a plus.
- Ability to work well independently and as a part of a team
- Ability to multi-task and be able to reassess priorities as situations arise
- Detail-oriented and attention to accuracy and meeting deadlines
- Excellent inter-personal skills
- Ability to exercise discretion with confidential matters
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely
