Schedule will require work Saturday-Monday, 10am-6pm. Pay will be $14.39 an hr.
Responsibilities for this Cook position include:
- Prepares food items using standardized recipes in a timely manner
- Determines food and supplies needed and coordinate meal production with serving hours
- Prepares all special dietary need as directed
- Monitors all food items to see that at least the minimum guidelines for temperature, taste, and quality are always upheld
- Ensures the proper preparation, portioning, and serving of foods as indicated by standardized recipes
- Tastes and prepares food to determine quality
- Maintains or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards
- Assists with orientation and training of new kitchen employees
- Practices all safety and loss prevention procedures
- Attends all in-services as required
- Follows all local, state, and federal policies regarding food handling
- Assists with proper documentation of temperature logs, taste panel forms, and cleaning schedules
- Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Flexibility with work schedule, weekends may be included
- Ability to work alone and in teams
- Successful completion of recognized food safety course preferred
- Excellent attendance record

Pay Details: $14.39 per hour
