Therapist - El Monte

Provide direct therapy services to children, adolescents, and young adults, as well as their families.

1. Provide high-quality therapy, treatment, and case management services to clients and their families, focusing on achieving treatment goals and improving functioning.
2. Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions tailored to the unique needs of each client.
3. Work with difficult to reach, traumatized, or disengaged individuals and families to engage them in treatment and support their progress.
4. Identify and intervene with the needs of abused and neglected children and adults, providing support and advocacy as needed.
5. Recognize symptoms of health, mental health, and substance use conditions, and respond accordingly by providing appropriate interventions and referrals.
6. Ensure timely completion of all required documentation, including charts, reports, client files, and billing, in accordance with Agency policies.
7. Provide telephone counseling for emergencies both during office hours and outside of office hours, ensuring that clients have access to support when needed.
8. Advocate for clients and provide relevant information about community resources to support their overall well-being and success.

1. Master's degree in counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
2. Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist or Registered as an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist.
3. Travel to different schools within the community.
