Accounts Receivable Specialist - Carmel

This role requires in-person attendance at our Carmel office during regular business hours from Monday through Friday.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle daily invoicing, ensuring that payments from insured clients are processed correctly and promptly.
• Collaborate with the insurance team to execute billing, collections, and report activities according to set deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions, coordinating closely with the finance department to resolve discrepancies and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain frequent communication with clients regarding their outstanding balances, providing them with precise statements of their accounts.
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger regularly to ensure all payments are accounted for and correctly posted.
• Proven work experience in an in-office Accounts Receivable role, preferably within an insurance setting.
• Familiarity with billing and collection practices within the insurance sector.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles with proficiency in spreadsheets and databases.
• Exceptional customer service and negotiation skills along with great attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
