CFO - Chief Financial Officer

This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity and is fully on-site.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Facilities Committee to develop and execute multi-year capital expenditure (CAPEX) plans.
• Ensure accountability for timelines and budgets for various projects, including new construction and facilities maintenance.
• Leverage ERP systems for financial and operational management.
• Support both top-down and bottom-up budgeting and forecasting processes, providing clarity and accuracy in financial planning.
• Reconcile cash-in and cash-out flows systematically, aligning with organizational policies.
• Manage banking relationships and oversee activities such as wire transfers and EFTs to ensure secure and timely transactions.
• Foster transparency and cooperation across departments to align with the organization’s educational goals and financial strategies.
• Act as a key advisor and partner to various teams, such as the Board of Trustees, Executive Committee, HR, IT, Facilities & Construction, educators, and staff.
• Provide actionable insights to enhance the organization’s financial stability and resource allocation.
• Candidate must possess a minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in the field of finance.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.
• Ability to utilize ADP - Financial Services is essential.
• Familiarity with various Business Systems is a must.
• Experience with CRM software is necessary.
• Mastery of Accounting Functions, including auditing, is expected.
• Proven experience with Budget Processes is required.
• Proficiency in Capital Management, including Cash Flow Analysis, is critical.
• Experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Blackbaud software is preferred.
