Estimator - Light Commercial Construction - Brookfield

About Our Client

The company prides itself on their ability to complete projects on time and within budget, while providing outstanding customer service. With over $100 million in annual revenue expected next year, they are beginning to break into doing multifamily and hospitality projects, and are seeking an experienced and ambitious Retail Project Manager to join our team.

Overview:

• Project Location: Mainly Midwest but they have projects nationally
• Leadership: Growth minded, and have backgrounds working for some of SE WI's best GCs
• Size: $70M but rapidly growing
• Reputation: They do mostly repeat work with well know clients
• Major clients: Chipotle, Panera Bread, ect.

• Review project plans and specifications to understand scope and requirements
• Calculate material, labor, and overhead costs to provide accurate project estimates
• Compile and prepare bid documents for submission to clients or project owners
• Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and availability of materials
• Identify potential risks and challenges in project execution and incorporate contingencies into estimates
• Monitor and adjust estimates as project specifications change to maintain financial accuracy
• Work with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates align with project goals and timelines

• 4+ years of estimating experience
• Ability to estimate retail projects
• Conceptual and hard bid experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Passion for construction
• Ability to work both in a team and independently
