Job Title: Heat Treat Operator**
**Job Description**
The heat treat process begins after the screws are manufactured in the manufacturing building. The screws are moved from the manufacturing building to the heat treat building to be processed. The candidate will be operating a heat treat furnace and using a forklift to load screws into the furnace.The candidate will be required to stand on their feet for a minimum of 8 hours a day.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate a heat treat furnace.
+ Use a forklift to load screws into the furnace.
+ Stand on feet for a minimum of 8 hours a day.
**Essential Skills**
+ Mechanical aptitude.
+ Experience in heat treating and machine operation.
+ Ability to operate stamping presses.
+ Prior machine operator experience is highly recommended but not required as long as the candidate is mechanically inclined.
+ Experience with oil changes and general mechanical skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Any experience in pipes, HVAC, or plumbing could be transferrable to heat treating.

**Work Environment**
The candidate will be working within a state-of-the-art Heat Treat facility. They will be required to stand on their feet for 12 hours straight, working on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays). The candidate will work alongside other Heat Treat operators.There are racking rooms being built that will be temperature controlled.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Agawam, Massachusetts.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
