Job Purpose

General Sales Manager is responsible for achieving business profitability, strategic business development, sales performance, staff management, and other activities related to ensuring that Haworth’s customers in the respective sub-region consistently receive high quality products and services.

Additionally, the role involves establishing strategic alliances with Real Estate Management establishments, Project Management Companies, and Architects and Designers.

A glimpse of your daily mission
  • Ensure the overall profitability of Haworth’s operations in the respective sector.
  • Prepare sales strategies to help local sales teams achieve assigned sales quotas.
  • Prepare budgets, business plans, and relevant business reports.
  • Develop business strategies to increase Haworth’s sales in the respective sector.
  • Develop and maintain Haworth’s image and brand positioning in accordance with Haworth’s global standards.
  • Support Haworth’s regional process initiatives, policies, and systems developed by the Asia/Pacific’s regional process management team and actively integrate them into the operations in the territory.
  • Leverage regional and global resources to provide marketing, technical, and customer service support to customers and end-users.
  • Provide leadership, training, and create an environment that fosters the development of staff, ensuring team members have the necessary resources to achieve their objectives.
  • Develop and implement systems to ensure that product and customer service quality standards are consistently met.
  • Coordinate business priorities among various department leaders to facilitate the achievement of shared business objectives.
  • Provide input for the development of regional plans and major account strategies.
Your Qualifications
  • University degree
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in managing cross-functional teams, including Sales and Marketing functions.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Furniture Industry (preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying new and emerging opportunities and developing and implementing strategic initiatives.
