Responsibilities:

• Manage purchasing orders from creation to delivery, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.
• Evaluate the quality, price, reliability, and technical support of vendors and suppliers to secure the best deals.
• Proactively monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery, updating and sharing reports on order status.
• Collaborate with warehouse and production personnel to maintain inventory levels.
• Conduct market research to identify pricing trends and negotiate to secure the best deals.
• Coordinate with the accounting department for invoice issues and payment scheduling.
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices.
• Assist in the development and implementation of the company’s purchasing policies and procedures.
• Address any problems or complaints related to the items/services purchased.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Purchasing role
• Proficient in using Epicor and other ERP Solutions
• Familiarity with Accounting Functions and Accounts Payable (AP) procedures
• Knowledge of Buying Processes and Purchase Orders
• Experience in Issuing, Entering, Preparing, and Processing Purchase orders
• Understanding of Purchase Price Allocation and Purchase Price Variance
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with vendors and negotiate pricing and terms
• Proven track record of successful Vendor Negotiation
• Ability to analyze market trends to determine appropriate Purchase Prices.
