Developer/Software Engineer

The successful candidate will support custom requests and inquiries, environment maintenance, data refreshes, product patches, product upgrades, and will be expected to adhere to development, change management, and security policies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and implement enhancements to the Clarity configuration and integrations on the DX T& D Clarity instance.
• Design and establish packages, stored procedures, views, indexes, and other relevant database objects.
• Respond to custom requests and inquiries requiring configuration adjustments to the user interface, database queries, reports, portlets, etc.
• Provide support during test cycles and implement enhancements as needed.
• Utilize Clarity Studio components such as objects, portlets, processes, lookups, and PPM add-ins to develop solutions.
• Engage with business users and stakeholders to assess and identify functional and technical requirements.
• Coordinate activities for environment maintenance, data refreshes, product patches, and product upgrades.
• Create documentation to support deployment and other activities.
• Ensure adherence to development, change management, and security policies.
• Oversee final checks, release code to production, validate and sign off on runbooks steps, test plans, etc. • Proficiency in the use of software development tools such as GitHub, R Code, JIRA, and UI
• Experience in various stages of software development including planning, implementation, and deployment
• Ability to perform workstation support and manage production environments
• Proven experience in software upgrades, component selection, and system integration
• Knowledge of configuration management and change management principles
• Ability to generate and manage documentation related to software development
• Experience with check processing and validation plans
• Proficiency in the use of Excel functions such as VLOOKUP and data indexing
• Ability to create and manage views within a database or software application
• Experience in working with stakeholders and managing their expectations
• Ability to create and execute test plans for software validation
• Understanding of the release process and the ability to scale out software applications
• Experience in software enhancement and the ability to propose improvements to existing software
• Ability to manage software deployments and ensure smooth transition during upgrades.
