Senior Defense Logistics Agency Energy Program Analyst - Alexandria
Responsibilities:
Overview:
On Noblis’ energy and sustainability team, we are dedicated to addressing our planet’s and Nation’s biggest challenges, including achieving resilience in Department of Defense (DoD) operational energy programs. We are seeking a professional who will be a member of our team working with DoD partners.As a senior energy program analyst on our team, you will lead a number of projects, including energy use analysis, energy resilience initiatives, policy analysis, and technology reviews that that enable resilient energy for the Joint warfighter, adoption of clean energy technologies, and reduce logistics requirements in contested environments.
You may engage in other initiatives as well, such as strategy development, support for Congressional testimony, and coordination with DoD components.
The successful candidate will:
- Have demonstrated knowledge of petroleum supply chain management and policies Demonstrated proficiency of Defense Wide Capital petroleum inventory accountability and reconciliation process
- Provide resolution of receiving reports and associated invoice reconciliation for Defense Wide Capital Fund products
- Provide expertise to ability to perform detailed analysis either independently or in a team environment
- Have a broad knowledge and understanding of petroleum energy operations as it relates to the Defense Wide Capital Fund In-depth knowledge of DoD Energy Policies and Bulk/Ground fuel Contract delivery
- Ability to adapt personnel tasks and/or prioritization of work when requirements dictate the mission focus
Required Qualifications:
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g., engineering, public administration, public policy, science, economics, sustainability, energy policy, supply chain) plus 8 years' experience (or a Master's degree plus 6 years' experience)
- Experience in DoD bulk fuel support, fuel storage, and energy distribution
- Presentation skills and experience presenting to technical and nontechnical audiences
- Experience in using Information Technology and databases to perform data analysis
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
Desired Qualifications:
Desired Qualifications- Advanced degree in relevant field (e.g., engineering, public administration, public policy, science, economics, sustainability, energy policy, supply chain)
- 15 years’ experience
- Knowledge of Defense Logistics Agency Energy
- Joint Fuels Responsible Officer Certification
- Experience with DoD installation or Service Control Points
- Strong data analysis skills in External Business Portal, Fuels Manager Defense
- Preference given to candidates located in, or willing to relocate to, Washington, D.C. metro area

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws.The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.
Posted Salary Range: USD $109,100.00 - USD $170,450.00 /Yr.
