For one of our clients, we are looking for an Account Executive, remotely from Missouri/Kansas.

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for supporting a Senior Sales Manager in closing new business and managing relationships with school districts across Missouri and Kansas. The role blends sales support, client relationship management, and account expansion, with a focus on ensuring seamless service and uncovering new opportunities for growth within existing school district partnerships.

Accountabilities:

  • Identify and generate leads within school districts, utilizing outreach, research, and networking.
  • Support the Senior Sales Manager by qualifying leads, scheduling meetings, and managing inbound and outbound leads within the CRM system.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for districts after deals are closed, ensuring smooth transitions from sales to account management.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with school district leaders to foster partnerships.
  • Work with internal teams to align strategies, ensuring successful onboarding and implementation of solutions.
  • Accurately report on sales activities, forecast revenue, and provide insights and data-driven recommendations.
  • Assist in creating customized quotes, proposals, and contracts for potential clients.
  • Identify and drive opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services to existing clients.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, account management, or business development, preferably within K-12 education or EdTech.
  • Proven track record in managing client relationships and assisting in closing business.
  • Strong skills in prospecting and lead generation, including outreach and research.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, particularly with school district leaders.
  • Experience using CRMs like Salesforce or HubSpot to manage pipelines and track deals.
  • Strong attention to detail when preparing quotes, proposals, and other sales documentation.
  • Ability to proactively identify expansion opportunities and grow existing accounts.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment.
