Telemetry and Flight Termination System (TM/FTS) Engineer
This is a long-term contract and you must be a US Citizen to apply. Required: US Citizenship and Residency, W2 hourly Contract Only, No 1099, No third parties, no C2C. No exceptions (Sorry) Pay: $70/hr. to $80.40/hr. D.O.E. Must have a Secret Clearance to Start TELEMETRY AND FLIGHT TERMINATION SYSTEM (TM/FTS) ENGINEERTelemetry And Flight Termination System (TM/FTS) Engineer to support JASSM production and development.-Primary responsibility will be to provide TM/FTS supplier component technical oversight to support ongoing qualification and/or lot acceptance tests and production deliveries-Candidate will be responsible for communicating status and issues as well as recommendations to program-Travel to supplier, production, and/or test locations will be required on an as needed basis REQUIRED EXPERIENCE-At least 4+ years of prior experience working with TM/FTS systems, RCC-319 and Test Range Safety organizations-4-6 years of Electronic Testing experience is required-4-6 years of Mechanical Testing experience is required-The role includes elements of requirements, design, analysis, integration, test, reviews, and safety coordination-Candidate needs to be a self-starter and have the capability of determining one's own tasking based on input from program DESIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS-The ideal candidate should have demonstrated experience to manage external suppliers with a focus on requirements verification, technical performance, and schedule-Excellent verbal, presentation, and written skills to all management/junior levels is desired-Demonstrated experience presenting at program/design reviews, technical reviews, and safety reviews is desired-Source program is missile launched from airborne military platforms.
