We are in the market for a Sr. Auditor to join our team in the Manufacturing industry, based in Morris Plains, New Jersey, 07950, United States. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. The Sr. Auditor will be tasked with handling various accounting software systems, executing audit programs, and managing audit engagements, among other responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the implementation of Accounting Software Systems
• Develop and execute comprehensive Audit Programs
• Implement and maintain controls according to CobiT framework
• Oversee Accounting Functions to ensure compliance and efficiency
• Conduct Audit Engagements and follow up on Audit Findings
• Play a key role in the planning and execution of Auditing strategies
• Develop and implement Audit Plans in line with company policies
• Manage ITGC and Integrated Audits for optimal control
• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley and conduct Sarbanes Oxley Audits when necessary.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a must.
• Experience with Audit Program is required.
• Familiarity with CaseWare software is needed.
• Understanding of CobiT framework is necessary.
• Ability to handle Accounting Functions effectively.
• Experience in leading Audit Engagements.
• Ability to document and present Audit Findings.
• Solid background in Auditing.
• Experience in developing and executing Audit Plans.
• Knowledge of IT General Controls (ITGC) is needed.
• Experience with Integrated Audits is required.
• Familiarity with Sarbanes Oxley regulations.
• Experience in conducting Sarbanes Oxley Audits.
